Hey all, You guys helped so much the last time I had a problem that I thought I might lay this one on ya. I have an 87' Savage, heres the problem. My wife and I and some fellow bikers went for a nice cruise this weekend, about 100 miles or so. My Savage was great, but when I got home I noticed that my crome Battery cover was missing. Im assuming it was not locked on correctly, well not a huge ordeal, but now the battery wont keep a charge. I went to start it this morning for work, (I fabricated a cover until I can replace it) and no Juice. So I bump started the bike, no problem, and let it run for a bit, shut it off, and again, No juice. So I hopped in the truck and came to work. So tonight before I jump into this, can anyone give me an idea on whats going on here? Did the battery short somthing out, or is it just fried. Again I havent looked into this too much yet, but thought I could educate myself before I do. thanks to all. Bwlaw
